For the last 3 years, I have been living in an apartment that JE Brown maintains the boiler for. The boiler is relatively new, yet it constantly needs work done to it.

During a cold snap in January of this year, the boiler was having an issue that caused no heat to be generated in my apartment for five days. A woman from JE Brown informed my wife that they were too busy to fix the issue, and she said that it would be another week before they could fit our appointment into their schedule. Thankfully our landlord found another contractor that was able to fix the issue the next day. This other contractor was very helpful and friendly to us, a polar opposite to the rude woman that we spoke to from JE Brown.

From my numerous encounters with JE Brown, they have shown a shocking lack of customer service. The boiler they maintain has had countless problems that have caused my wife and I to spend weeks at a time wearing winter coats in our apartment and forced us to buy space heaters.
